Overall the cruise was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Was disappointed in the average food, both in the formal dining room and in the casual dining area. Not a lot of activities on board that I was interested in (towel folding, bingo) so I spent most of the cruise by the pool which was crowded, especially on at sea days.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Was disappointed in the average food on this cruise. Waitstaff were very accomodating in the dining room. Our assistant waiter was better than our actual waitstaff.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Didn't have a lot of daytime options for someone who has cruised before and seen the towel folding, napkin folding and shopping seminars, and doesn't really like bingo or gambling. Thought it was really cheap that you had to pay for a behind the scenes tour of the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Front desk staff went above and beyond to get my daughter, a young pastry chef, a tour of the kitchen with the executive chef on the last day of the cruise.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Carpets were worn, hope this ship is due for a refurbish soon.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Size of cabin was good, carpet and sofa were looking worn, in need of replacement.

Pros: Our excursion to swim with sharks.

Cons: We had some snafus with our excursion. No tickets were issued, we received no directions on where to go, so we almost missed it.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!
