A relaxing cruise

Sail Date: November 21, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Jewel of the seas is a very nice boat and offers many activities. So no time to be bored while cruising. The staterooms are very comfortable. The spa is great and I recommend strongly using the thermal suite. Our only negative surprise was the quality of the food that was mediocre at the Windjammer cafe or at the dining room.
Another recommendation, do not be afraid to shop on board of the ship. It offers much better deals on some items than at the ports of calls.

Pros: The spa

Cons: The food

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Selectio was good, just the quality
Ship Quality
Only issue is that dogs are accepted on board and unfortunately, dogs owners don't seem considerate for the other passengers and do not always clean after their dogs....
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Shops are nice, do not always accept credit cards but found several items which much better price on the ship.
Cozumel, Mexico
Rent a scooter and tour the island...beautiful beaches, beautiful coastal highway. Stop by Senior Sanchos and enjoy real mexican tacos and fajitas.
