8 nights on Jewel of the seas

Room Type: Oceanview

very clean and attractive ship, nice friendly crew. food was average with limited choices. service in dining room very good. service in windjammer cafe and at breakfast also very good. we like optional times for dining vs the fixed 2 seating choices. we felt rushed for the early seating. 8:30 was too late. very nice indoor pool area for adults. small kids had pool and water slide for themselves. nice minii-golf. good gym. capitan was very visible and approachable. good music in centrum but weak steel band/reggae on deck. good value for 8 night cruise.

Pros: ship was beautiful service was excellent

Cons: food choices
