A dream come true

Sail Date: November 12, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

As this was our honeymoon cruise we wanted it to be special and the RC Jewel was truly that! The upscale appointments with granite in bathrooms and wood doors were attention to detail that I've never seen before. Add that with a pool in the solarium that made you feel like you were in an Indian palace complete with Elephants, it was truly a dream come true.

Pros: Food quality, ship elegance, amazing artwork

Cons: lack of waterfountains in exercise area

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Loved the beach area with shaded huts to be able to sit under right off the ship
George Town, Grand Cayman
Not my favorite port - too crowded and congested.
Cozumel, Mexico
Pancho's backyard has the best margaritas
Key West, Florida
Hemingway house a great stop
