fair ,cruise on Jewel of the seas,

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Although the servers, waiters, housekeeping and all the staff of the ship were of the highest caliber, the ship itself lacked a lot of things that cruise people take for granted. We had an outside room that i call a closet..No room for clothing ( and we do not overpack) We kept bumping into eachother as we dressed. Very tight. The tour we selected in Panama was the canal and an old fort town called portobello. The panama portion of the tour. Only 1 hour was fine, the rest of the tour. 4 hrs. was terrible. I would strongly advise not to take that tour. It was obvious that the Jewel of the Seas was cutting corners. We could not find a pencil or pen or writing paper in our Room. We will not sail on this ship again.

Pros: All the service people were wonderful, helpful, and fufilled all our needs.

Cons: Our outside room was sooo small, no room to store clothes or luggage, food was just ok. It seemed as if Royal carib. was cutting corners everywhere they could on the jewel of the seas We will not sail on thie line again

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? No.
