I'd do it again

Sail Date: August 01, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was very nice. The only complaint I have is that the 2 swimming pools were too small to accommodate all the passengers. Food was very good. I would recommend more activities on the ship. Room was clean and room stewart very accommodating. We had a balcony and would recommend while in port, they wash the plexiglass "wall" as it was hard to see while seated. You had to stand up in order to get a good view.

Pros: Liked being on a 10 day cruise. It was just enough - not too little, not too much.

Cons: Would have liked to have gone to one more island. Puerto Rico was sort of a waste of time since we arrived late afternoon..

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
We put the coffee table in the closet to give us more room. Who needs a mini bar on a ship anyway? Get rid of it to make more room.
Service and Staff
Staff was very friendly and helpful even the last day when all the tips were dispursed.
The shows were very entertaining, especially the singers and dancers.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Ate in dining room in evening. Buffet for breakfast and lunch was wonderful. Huge assortment to please every palate.
