Very clean ship. We have cruised with Royal Caribbean on four different ships and Jewel did not disappoint us.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good, always arrived at our table hot. Good variety in the dining room. Breakfast in the Windjammer seemed to be the same every morning, but it was always good. Pleasantly surprised that we could order the filet mignon from Chops in the dining room.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Nightly entertainment was good. Our group also took part in many of the activities onboard. "The Quest" is the same on all ships, predictable, but still a scream!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Stateroom attendants were excellent, always asking if we needed anything else. Dining room waiter and assistant waiter were very pleasant and went above and beyond. We were able to get seconds when we asked. Bar staff appeared as soon as you were ready for another yummy frozen drink!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean. My husband and I spent lots of time admiring the artwork in the stairways and in the elevators (we did not like the plaques on the floors of the elevators indicating the days of the week - especially when we got toward the end of our cruise!)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We booked an Oceanview stateroom and were offered an upgrade to a balcony guaranty room by Vacation Outlet for $100.00 more per room. Our balcony stateroom was located on Deck 7 toward the front of the ship. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Even though we were toward the front of the ship, the elevator was fairly close. Stateroom attendant kept the room clean and there were always plenty of towels.

Pros: Ease of getting to the port in Boston

Cons: Cruise was too short.
