Room Type: Inside

The staff for the most part was very friendly and always accessible. I did notice on a few occasions negativity and rudeness by a few staffers in the buffet area. The food at the Portofino was exceptional! It was a better meal than I have had in a 5 star restaurant!! The dining room food was cold at secaond dining. On our last night at dinner the waiter gave us a speech on why to give him a big tip as he didnt make very much money form the criuse ship .He ended the speech with "remember you get to home to your rich life and I have to stay here!" Obviously he didnt get a tip from us or our table . We were insulted. Overall the trip was a blast and we didnt let those little things get in our way because overall the satff was excellent!

Pros: The variety of things to do and see on the ship

Cons: smoking allowed in the casino and several other locations, the food in the diningroom was never hot and was fair at best

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Again as stated above the Portofino was superb ! We wanted to eat there every night after being there. The second dining food was cold . We did eat at first dining on our last night and it was better. The food at the cafe was awesome as well. The buffet was great
Cabin / Stateroom
We had an interior room for 3 and it was tight but we did only sleep in there anyway so it wasnt a big deal. It would be helpful to know that the 3rd bed was a bunk bed when we booked the reservation as I would have booked another room type.
Ship Quality
The ship should be non smoking! The smell was aweful in those areas.
Service and Staff
OUR STAEROOM ATTENDANT WAS AWESOME . iT SEEMED LIKE EVERYTIME WE OPENED OUR DOOR HE WAS THERE! VERY NICE AND FUNNY !
Entertainment
I think it would be helpful to provide more information on how to get around the island, time shops close , and special events happening in and around the island, and recommendatons on dining
