5 Night Bermuda (Boston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 23, 2008
Ship: Jewel of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Except for the two specialty resturants the food was very ordinary. The ship was beautiful but the stay in Hamilton ( 5 hours ) was too short and the time wasted shuttling passengers in was aggravating.Sunday there was nothing going on at the dockyard and it rained so the beaches were out. It felt like an extended cruise to nowhere.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food in the two specialty resturants were exceptional and well worth the extra money to dine at.The food at the main dining area was good but the food for lunch and snacks were poor.Room service was fair.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I thought the entertainment to be very good. the Broadway type entertainment,Magician,Simon and the rest of the musicians were excellent.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff was courteous and friendly and were impressed with staff in main dining room and specialty resturants.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a room on the third deck and the room was small but adequate.

Not much going on.
Don't Miss: The beaches which we missed because of rain.
