Review summary

My husband and I were in desperate need of a relaxing vacation and our cruise on the Jewel of the Seas was the perfect choice. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and appearance of our stateroom. The dining room had plenty of space between tables, the waitstaff went above and beyond any request and the food was top notch. The alternative restaurant, The Chops Grille, was well worth the $20 per person charge. The fitness center had lots of brand-new state-of-the-art equipment that provided the perfect balance to all of the outstanding food we consumed. The only fault that I found with this ship was that I had hoped that there would be more music by the pool area. To have more hot tubs on board would be nice since they tended to be overcrowed and the "no children" rule in the hot tub and Solarium needs to be better enforced. Overall, a great time on very impressive ship with lots of activities. Would love to see more Royal Caribbean ships departing from Boston.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Snorkle park was a nice new area to visit. A five minute walk from the ship, snorkle park has a great beach with lots of sand and toy rentals along with a nice resturant/bar (Hammerheads) The two day bus pass from kings wharf is a good value for $20 per person, good for all buses and water shuttles on the island.
Don't Miss: Snorkle park
