Best cruise ever!

Sail Date: October 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

It was beautiful. Everything was very convenient, our staterooms were just the right size and our Stateroom attendant, Don was the absolute best. We were amazed at how well the staff of the entire ship remembered our names and conversations we had with them.

Pros: Everything......... the service was the best, the food excellent, the activites endless

Cons: That the trip was so short - would deinately book an 8 or 10 night cruise next time / I would suggest having more slow dancing evenings (even if it is just for an hour a night) in the nightclub. The centrum was nice but was crowded each night.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship size was great. It allowed for many activities and many places to visit onboard. We hardly saw one of our sons he was that busy.
Food and Dining
The best ever. Our sons loved the meals so much that they even had extra dishes and double desserts.
Service and Staff
The entire staff on board went well beyond what they had to to make our trip enjoyable. Example, Don (our stateroom attendant) explained that they leave towel animals in the rooms every other day and I told him I would miss one on the last night. We retired to our cabin on our last night to find a new towel animal. He was the best.
Entertainment
Our cruise director was the funniest. He really made people laugh and got everyone involved in the activities.
Children's Programs
We have a 12 yr old son who absolutely enjoyed all the activities. He didn't want to leave our last day.
Cabin / Stateroom
No matter where we went on board it was comfortable and relaxing. The beds in our cabins we so comfy.
