A lovely birthday cruise

Sail Date: November 01, 2009

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

Chose an 11 day voyage with Jewel of the Seas to celebrate my big 50 with a group of 12 family and friends and we had a truly fabulous time! Entertainment was excellent value for money;dining room staff delivered outstanding service night after night and the food was very tasty and abundant.

Pros: 1st class entertainment and outstanding dining room service

Cons: Spa prices were unaffordable and staterooms a bit small

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
rooms small especially bathroom and sparse amenities -not even hand lotion
Ship Quality
Very nicely appointed public areas ,elegant decor and high level of cleanliness.
Food and Dining
Windjammer cafe was well laid out to avoid long waits for breakfast and lunch and very good variety of dishes to suit all palettes
Service and Staff
Best part of the package
