This was our first cruise, and will not be the last with Royal Carribean or the Jewel of the Seas. The boat was in great shape, and the rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and always quick with a smile no matter where you were on the boat. I enjoyed the casino, but would've enjoyed it more if I didn't lose so much. We were thrilled with our experience on this cruise, and will definitely take many more over the years.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious. We ate in the main dining room 3 nights, and were impressed with the quality. A few other nights were spent eating at the various restaurants on the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't know what to expect on our on-shore excursions, but each of the were very well organized and relaxing. I would recommend Passion Island in Cozumel if you are into sitting on a private beach and relaxing to the extreme.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dinner waitress, Olga, was very friendly and personable. We had the opportunity to meet the best bartender on this side of the equator, Mehi, who worked at the Schooner Bar.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It's amazing that the boat can float because it's so big, the it was very clean and the public areas gave you a chance to figure out where you needed to go. It took a day or so to get used to the layout of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The balcony room is highly recommended, but the bed was pretty rough.

Pros: Food, cabins, staff

Cons: Getting off the ship was a giant production when we got back to Tampa.
