WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

Room Type: Balcony

My husband and I had never been on a cruise before so we did not know what to expect. This was a first vacation without our teenage sons, a time for us to get to know each other and it worked, we are planning to take another cruise next year - would love for it to be on this ship or the new Liberty. This ship was beautiful, great layout, easy access to everything. We would have liked to have spent more time in St. Thomas, Antiqua, St. Martten and less time in Nassau, could actually skip Bahamas all together.

Pros: THE OVERALL EXPERI4ENCE

Cons: NOT ENOUGH TIME IN SOME OF THE PORTS

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was very clean, had hand sanitizers available, easy access to everything.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent, we called the Seaview Cafe the McDonalds of the ship, we hardly ate breakfast so when we were not in port this was a great fast food choice, loved the onion rings and the ruben sandwich, staff very friendly & courteous.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were on deck 10 and loved it. Size was great we thought it would be smaller but there was enough room to be very comfortable. Loved the towel animals - took a picture everynight so I knew when a day ended when I got pics developed.
Entertainment
Loved the Bingo, had a ball and won a few times. Mitch and staff were great. Evening shows could have been a bit better, laughed uncontrolably at Anthony Griffiths. Would like to have seen the towel demonstration but it conflicted with the Grand Bingo game.
Service and Staff
Staff was out of this world. Pit Stop bar bartender Mehi from Romania was great. He went "above and beyond", we would get to his bar early when no other guests were there and from the first day when he first met us he remembered our names. Even if we were just passing thru his area or saw him on another deck he would say hi "Ms. Pam, Mr. Steve" He would ask us what we did and saw that day, gave us suggestions that were right on for the next day. When he got busy he never forgot that we were sitting at the one end and he was very attentive to all his patrons and how does he remember all our names and where we are from? He even introduced us to another couple from Illinois. He was exceptional to say the least.
