Sail Date: December 10, 2006

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

A great, new, large ship, with the usual RCCL friendly, outgoing staff. Nice pools, facilities, hottubs, huge gym,

Pros: Beautiful, new ship, lots of room and facilities, great friendly staff

Cons: Good but not particularly special food, slow debarkation

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Good food, but not special
Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
Showroom shows are nice..nothing special, but a good diversion for an hour or so..
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
This is a totally "manufactured" port, nothing here but a shopping mall and a pool, except tours to the nearby ruins
Don't Miss: Chacchoban Ruins
George Town, Grand Cayman
Also went scuba diving wife did some interesting sightseeing, want to go back for the stingrays
Don't Miss: Stingray City, Scuba Dviing.
Cozumel, Mexico
Wife went shopping, I went Scuba Diving..
Don't Miss: Scuba Diving
Key West, Florida
Not a lot to do here really, and the cruise passengers overwhem the town. We looked for the Robert Frost Cottage, no one knew exactly where, including the "informtion" kioks
Don't Miss: Key Lime Pie, Hemmingway House
