The ship is one of our favorites.

Sail Date: November 18, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Everything was fantastic the service the food and the staff. We have sailed 5 times this year and this is the first time we sailed Royal Carribean. The ship had numerous places for people to be and activities for all ages it never seemed crowed. Royal Carribean takes great pride on detail and customer service. We plan on sailing on this ship again.

Pros: They upgraded us to a suite

Cons: We would have liked alittle more time in the ports

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The only thing that was bad was our air conditioner was broken and it took numerous attempts to repair it. (4 days).
Entertainment
We only attended one and it was so so.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
We really enjoyed the specialty resturants. Chops and Portofino
Service and Staff
Rex was fantastic our state room attendant.
Children's Programs
We met with the director for the childrens area since we plan on taking our family on a cruise next year for Thanksgiving.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
We went to the Divi Resort since we own 2 time shares in Aruba and this resort was not great. Probally will not go there the beach on the other side is nicer.
St. John's, Antigua
Did the catameran and snorkel. This is a must do the staff is very accomodating and alot of fun.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We tried to get into the Dragon Fly but there is a dress code so we went to their sister place across the street. It was great.
Nassau, Bahamas
Paradise island is always a must do.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
T he city was alittle crowed that day there were 5 ships in port.
