A wonderful itinerary !!!
Jewel of the Seas Cruise Review to Europe - Northern Europe
Review SummaryMy wife is handicapped as a result of a stroke and we could not have asked for better service, assistance, or accomodations. The ship was very "handicapped friendly" - doors open automatically, no raised thresholds to enter our suite or public areas, and bathroom facilities were spacious and easily accomodated a wheel chair. Ship was very clean and food was above average. Well organized staff to expedite embarkation and disembarkation as well as shore excursions. Alchoholic drinks were expensive and the cruise line does not permit "carry on" liquor - I question the wisdom of that policy. The itinerary was great - cruising from Harwich thru Scandinavia on to St. Petersburgh and Tallin, Estonia. Russia needs to get its' act together to make it easier for tourists to come and go - as of now we would never take on a shore excursion in Russia unless it was arranged by the cruise line. Overall - a wonderful experience
