The weather was great on our June, 2007, cruise of the inside passage which started in Vancouver BC and ended in Whittier, AK. Exiting and returning to the ship at the three ports of call was stressful and burdened with long lines through security. None of the security personnel spoke English very well, which only added to the problem. Most of the time, only one entry and exit onto the Island Princess was in operation, with a ship with over 2000 people, this caused a rush hour type mass of people.

Pros: The weather was great

Cons: The food was so-so

Recommends Island Princess? No.
