Island Princess Cruise Review to Panama Canal, Central America
Ship: Island Princess
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago
Not having taken a cruise in several years , my significant other was very apprehensive. In the 10 days she became a total cruise advocate. The shopping aboard and ashore were right up there among the high points. The services provided, starting with an excelent cabin steward, the dining rooms and overall the ship staff.
The food was to our liking and amazing variety. We preferred "anytime dining, and would stick with that on our next cruise. After all we are on vacation why set schedules.
We were impressed at the "extra step" all the staff took on any request.
Although we have had some experience with other lines, Princess , was outstanding in all categories and would be our preference on our Alaska cruise, next year.
