Caribbean spring break cruise

Sail Date: March 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

very good condition for a large\, but not mega ship. Every area seemed clean and well maintained.

Pros: festive atmosphere\, weather\, ports of call\, trivia contests\, shows\, etc.

Cons: food wasn't as great as it could be in some areas.

Recommends Independence of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Entertainment
Love and Marriage show was awesome\, as was ice show. Game shows were great as were the hosts.
Service and Staff
Most staff were great. A few were a little indifferent and a few were on their cell phones in public areas. Hopefully they were on break.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was excellent and we had an awesome cabin steward.
Food and Dining
Food was good but not great. Orange juice was warm on 3 of the 6 days. Bacon was severely under cooked. Some breads were stale. Overall it was still very good and we ate a lot. It just could have been better.
