Nice cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2009

Room Type: Suite

Ship very clean, food very good, although dining experience took 2 hours each night which I thought was a little long. Didn't see security until the last couple of days, they should have been a presence from the first night after 10. There were 8 years olds riding the elevators (pushing all the buttons) and running around the deck at 12:30 at night. Think many parents feel as soon as they get on a ship they are on a vacation from parenting. Also after the show at 9 pm there wasn't any live music to be found until 10. People in my party tended to use this as an excuse to head to the cabin. Miss the candy on the pillow each night.

Pros: Food, land days as I stayed on the nice quiet ship and was able to enjoy adult pool

Cons: no live music from 9-10 when show got out and # of kids roving after 11 pm

Recommends Independence of the Seas? Yes!

Service and Staff
Didn't think the staff in the dining room was a friendly as past experiences I have had with RCCL.
Entertainment
Schedule of live music and missed carribean sound on deck during the day.
