This was our first cruise, and we are very glad that we took our first cruise aboard the Holiday. The wait staff, cabin stewards, cruise director, and entertainment staff were very friendly and helpful with our first cruise experience. We can't wait to experience another Carnival Cruise!

The water in Cozumel was absolutely beautiful! I am very glad we went in the spring time because the weather and temperature were perfect. We enjoyed visiting all of the authentic Mexican shops and restuarants, and the BEST part of our day was sailing aboard the Fury Catamaran. The Catamaran offered snorkeling and a beach party on a private beach, with unlimited beer and margaritas.
Don't Miss: You HAVE to do the Catamaran excursion!!!

Calica was outstanding, as well! When we docked, we had absolutely no plans for an excursion. However, once we debarked the ship, we rented a Jeep with the local rental company and drove through Calica, Playa del Carmen, and up to Cancun. This was one of the best days I've ever had on a vacation. Just exploring the Mexican Riviera was a blast!

Pros: The crew was extremely friendly and helpful!

Cons: The only problem was the wind on the first full day at sea, but that wasn't anything the crew could control.
