We thought the ship was very clean and well maintained for it's age. It's definitely one of the smaller ships but we thought the crew was outstanding. It sways a little more than the bigger ships but overall it wasn't bad. This is the second time we have taken a cruise on the Holiday. It's a great vacation for the money we wanted to spend. We just wanted to get away and relax.

The food was amazing. The dinner options were comparable to a fancy restaurant. The variety was great. We always had a hard time deciding what to eat because it all sounded so good. Our waiter was so friendly and fun. They really do a great job.
Entertainment

We didn't do much on this cruise. The shows were the same since we had taken this cruise before but I do remember them being good. We just decided to be lazy on this cruise. We did go to one show and it was comparable to a Las Vegas style show. Very good!!!
Children's Programs

We didn't take our kids with us this time. I did watch the camp carnival staff and they seemed to really enjoy the kids. They had a ton of activities for them and the play area was nice. Can't wait to plan a vacation with the kids. :)
Service and Staff

Absolutely amazing staff. I loved learning where they were from and their backgrounds. It's amazing what some of the staff go through to provide for their families. Some spend 6-8 months away from their spouse and children to make a good living. It's so sad but I know that Carnival is doing a great thing for them. Most don't have this type of income earning potential in their country. It's so easy to tip them well because they really do go above and beyond.
Ship Quality

My only complaint is that the ship is not non-smoking. Several of the lounges smelled awful. We had to enjoy the piano music out in the hallway.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was our 4th cruise. You learn all the rooms look identical no matter what floor you are on. Because we booked the cruise at the last minute we just took what they gave us. We had an interior room U190 in the back of the ship. It didn't really bother me that we didn't have a view. We were right beside an engine though so anytime the boat slowed down or turned it was so loud and everything vibrated. It ruined one night's sleep because it started at 3am but it didn't ruin my vacation. You just have to know you get what you pay for. If I took this cruise again, I would try a higher floor in the front of the ship.

We didn't get off the boat at this port. We talked to several passengers that said they didn't like it. If you stay on the boat when everyone else gets off you have the whole ship to yourself. It was really nice. We laid out and had our pick of spots and no waiting lines to eat at the buffet. Just a suggestion.
