this was our 1st cruise and had done a little research by reading former comments by previous cruisers and was not quite sure what to expect..
all i can say about our cruse is 2 words "was great", every one on staff was exceptional, and meeting the young men and ladies of different nationalities, was quite an experience, laearned much about different countries, they love to talk about their homes {by the way, they all want to open restaurants} when they are done working the cruise circuit.
the food was abundant, so you will never be hungry, the entertainment was next to anything you will see at home, overall excellence..
the HOLIDAY is a old ship but the refurbishment gave it a more new feeling, it was a real comfortable ship.
the smaller size of the ship w/less passengers made it more personal, we meet and made lots of new friends..
so...if you have never cruised, try the HOLIDAY first, you will be very plesantly surprised
