A great getaway for our family

This was our first cruise and we had read lots of reviews - mostly neutral and bad - about the Holiday. This boat was the perfect size for us. I can't imagine being on a larger boat with more people. We liked everything about this boat. The staterooms were surprisingly comfortable - even with five in one stateroom. The service was outstanding, the food great and the boat was very clean. Sure the the themes and decor might be outdated to some, but it was a great first experience. We would love to sail on her again, but we understand that the Holiday will be taken out of service after this year. Too bad. Our dining room staff (Rolando and Kedek) were outstanding.

Pros: The service, the food, the staff, and the boat

Cons: Wished we had brought light jackets or sweaters for the lounges. The AC was cool.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Had fun at Chchen Itza. Good tour. Well organized.
Cozumel, Mexico
We did snuba and shopping. The bargains are better at Chichen Itza.
