One of our best cruises ever!

Sail Date: May 12, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

Although the Holiday is the oldest and smallest ship in Carnival's fleet, we can truly say its amenities and crew more than made up for those facts. The food and service was wonderful. Our dining room waiter, Tibor, provided us with a whole lot of good information about the nightly cuisine, and did so with such fervor and humor that it made us feel as if we had known him for years! The same can surely be said of the Lido deck waiters and staff. They were all great. It's our understanding that the Holiday has been sold to an independent cruiseline in Spain, and that another ship (or two) will take its place in sailing out of Mobile, AL, next year; but, after sailing with Carnival for the past three years, we're certain that whatever ship(s) take its place will be just as nice as the ones we've been on in the past. Carnival is just the best! ...and the price though was right, as well. We had eight other people with us on this cruise, and every one of them informed us that they couldn't wait for next year. In short: and Carnival Cruise Lines make a great travel combination.

Pros: Restaurants on board and one of the friendliest crews we've encountered!

Cons: A slight inconvenience in getting to our dining room.
