Embarkation was fine. This is my 3rd cruise, my wife's fourth. We agreed that the Holiday is a tired old ship that Carnival probably needs to retire. The only thing that sold us on this cruise was the itinerary, a port a day for a week which we enjoyed. We took advantage of the port excursions. Service aboard the ship was good and dining room food, excellent! However, we recommmended on the comments card that Carnival should have a noise curfew in the cabin areas. If people want to play loud music in their cabins, that's fine but not after 10pm!! That's why they have music upstairs, idiots!! (sorry, venting a little). The ship's overall (age) condition seems to show in the carpeting and room furniture. Otherwise, it was a good cruise.
