Great cruise for the price

Sail Date: April 11, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is ready for retirement in November, but the crew makes the difference. Not having space for dancing around the Piano bars or scheduling the prime activities when some of the other things we would have liked to have gone to. But overall we had a great time.

Pros: Ships crew was very professional and tried very hard to please. The food was very good. The entertainment was outstanding. The cleanliness was superb.

Cons: The old ship shuddered with prop wash making it difficult to sleep. We had a cabin on the # 7 deck forward and found that the activities in the Americana room traveled to our room limiting bedtime to when the shows were over, around midnite on some nites.
