A Getaway for Two

Sail Date: October 06, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was great, service was great. It was a small ship compared to other cruises we have gone on, but well worth doing again. The cruise director rocked.

Pros: There was plenty to do and activities going on all the time. The service was great.

Cons: Long lines at the Lido Desk buffet and the pool was too small.

Recommends Holiday (RETIRED) 39? Yes!

Food and Dining
The only negative comment about the food was the long lines for lunch on the Lido deck. Dinner was more casual than I had seen on other ships.
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms were comfortable, clean and we had plenty of room.
Service and Staff
The cruise director rocked. WooHoo!
Ship Quality
Cozumel, Mexico
We took the city tour and visited the Tequila showroom for tasting. We had a blast.
Don't Miss: Pancho's Backyard to eat.
Calica, Mexico
We took the jeeps and swam in an underground cavern and went to the beach. Where in the US can you swim in an underground cavern? The only disadvantage to this port, was you could not walk into town. You had to take a taxi or one of the activities.
