Great Cruise

Sail Date: August 16, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship was a little old but was well kept, clean, and easy to get around. Rooms a little small but this was our first cruise and as we only spent sleeping time there it was not a problem.

Pros: Activities, food, staff, views.

Cons: Progresso tour.

Recommends Holiday (RETIRED) 39? Yes!

Ship Quality
Nothing to compare it to but we were well pleased.
Food and Dining
Ate to much. Everything was exceptional and got to try many new dishes we would have never thought of in a restaurant. The one exception was the diet cheesecake (BAD).
Cabin / Stateroom
The room size was not what we expected but we got used to it soon. Bed was really comfortable. Slept great. Staff cleaned/checked room at least 3 times a day.
Service and Staff
Had no problems and they made procedures very understandable.
Very entertaining. Kept us busy.
Cozumel, Mexico
Beautiful port and clean city. Some vendors pushy as usual but ships information provided to us was invaluable.
Don't Miss: Views.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Beautiful port. Went on shopping/horse show. Tour owner showed to stores of friends who where way overpriced and not considerate. Horse show was very 4th rate. Not worth the money.
