it had been several years since my last cruise. the previous year i had been diagnosed with cancer and went thru the treatment. the cancer is gone but i was terribly sick from chemo and radiation. this cruise was a great celebration of being cancer free! i had a fantastic time. the food was good, everyone was so nice and you could not have asked for a better, all around good time.

Pros: the food and activities

Cons: took forever to get off the ship in costa maya

Recommends Holiday (RETIRED) 39? Yes!

Ship Quality
some of the public areas were showing a little wear and tear. perhaps from being a fema ship. it could use a tid of sprucing up.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
the weather was cold, cloudy and windy so we did not do any tours. the shopping was good though. i'd have enjoyed costa maya more if the weather had been better.
