Review summary

I'm glad we went on Harmony because I can now check it off my bucket list. Nice ship, lots to do, good shows, pretty good food. The bad... terrible beds ,terrible pillows, had a deluxe ocean view room booked ( 14-624) and the noise above was so loud we had to move. Customer service was less than nice ,, but did move us and gave us 2 massages, but still a rocky start to a vacation. The manager told us tgat " we can move on now" after we complained. No one bothered to say they were sorry for the problem. If you have this room booked .. MOVE NOW! Loved Jamie's Italian and Central Park. Wonderland was just ok. Main dining room was fine . RC seems to be starting to nickel and dime the customer. Bought the premium drink pkg, and the wine in the price of pkg was terrible so you have to pay extra.. which was annoying, but we did it. Overall fun, but I like a smaller ship.

Ship tip

Book shows and dinners early , eat at Jamie's , visit Vintages if you like wine. Go to lunch at Windjammer at 1130..bring a hat you can tie if you sit In the sun on upper deck. Massage was great! Book everything before you board!

We are in 14604 in October. We don't plan on spending to much time in the room.

Always sandwich yourself between room floors this will help minimize on noise. Do your research even consult a travel agent they are very knowledgeable.

Always check the decks above and below before you book a room. We have never had a problem with noise.

Sadly many cruise lines are resorting to the nickel and dime approach. Even some of the once premium lines.

It's no fun to have a loud room. I always choose my own room and as soon as I see one I like I look at the deck plan to see what's around it. If anything other than staterooms, I research to see if others have reported noise problems. How lucky they could move you and give massages. Sweet!
