Overall, the cruise was good. I think the food could have been a little better especially in the specialty dining restaurants. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! The musicians onboard were excellent! The employees at guest services were great!

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
I ate at Giovanni's Italian restaurant and it was terrible! We were served bread and oil and the oil had a horrible taste so I asked for butter. The waiter took the bread basket and brought out a little container of frozen, freezer burned butter. Had to ask for the bread about 15 minutes later because he forgot to bring it back out. The muscles in my seafood dish tasted rancid which made the pasta taste bad. The dessert wasn't any better. It was a waste of money!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I'm sure the onboard activities would have been great but I didn't go in any of the pools or rock climbing wall. I didn't even see a fitness center even though I'm sure there was one on the ship.
Entertainment

I only went to 1 of the shows and it was really good.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most of the staff were great and there was just a small percent that would cut in front of you in the Windjammer and not say excuse me. Also, some staff would just walk right past you in the hallway and not say hello even when I would say it to them.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout of the ship was great. It was a small ship but I loved it. I wish the staff would have wiped the elevator buttons and stair handrails better. Each time I touched the stair handrail, there were pieces of something on it. I ended up getting Covid 2 days after I got home even though I am vaccinated. Ugh!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The bed was so comfortable! I slept like a baby! I wish the bathroom was a little larger though even if it meant making the cabin size smaller. For it being a suite, I wish it had a makeup mirror in the bathroom. There was plenty of storage spaces in the room which I was not used to. The balcony was very nice. The only real con of this room was the noise. It is located in a bad position right under the pool and for some reason, each night when we were trying to sleep, the staff would move all the pool chairs and drag them across the floor and it was SO loud!!!
Ship tip
You can get from 1 end of the ship to the other very quickly!! I loved it!
Very beautiful water but the people in the shops are very pushy! They will lie to you to get you to buy their stuff and each shop sold the same items!! I think it was all made in China and the 1 shop tried selling me bamboo T-shirts for $45 each and they were 100% cotton. When I confronted him and said it's cotton, he said it's a bamboo blend! Can't stand liars! Also, the restaurants near the Port are extremely expensive. I ate at 1 of them and the food was not even that good.
I was part of the Key program and my husband and I were able to enjoy a nice breakfast in the Main Dining Room and got to go in a special, short line for disembarkation.
Thank you for taking the time to share your cruise with us. Glad you somewhat enjoyed yourself. I will be sailing on the Grandeur out of Miami in February.
