I thought food was great, drink plan was terrible. First only 3 machines, clarity of what was included in plan poorly communicated. Of the 3 machines they were almost always out of ice, poorly stocked and even broken. I was very upset by this drink plan.

Our service and staff was exemplary. Especially service at main dining table 222, and our room service was top notch. If I go again on one of your ships this would be the reason.

The staff made being in the room great. Having irons and ironing boards would be a great plus.
If you had read the information on the drink plans, which are very detailed on what is and is not included. The ship map on the site and app show where the machine are and how many there are. You can go to any bar to get ice, also in the buffet there are independent ice machines that are used for the free drinks that you can use if you wanted to, that's where I always got my ice. They do try hard to keep the machines working and filled but with so many people using and sometimes abusing them it takes time to keep them up to snuff.

There is quit actually tons to do on a cruise everyday and hardly any have to do with drinking. Just because they hold many activities in bar areas doesn't mean you have to drink alcohol, it's held in these areas because there is more seating with tables so you can do trivia, bingo, coloring, etc. Many times we have done so much that at night we would be so exhausted! However, cruising is about relaxing and just finding a nice place to sit on the deck to read a book, play on your phone or just take a nap can be the best way to spend an afternoon.
Thank you for taking the time to share your cruise with us. Other then the problems with drinks it appears you had a good time. I am taking my daughter on the Grandeur in February out of Miami. Neither of us drink but I am sure we will find something to do even if it is to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.
