Despite what everyone is saying in the news, we felt like the cruise was enjoyable and relaxing way to spend time as a family. With less than half of the people normally on the ship it was almost like we had a private sailing. The food was excellent as was the service. The ports we didn’t get to go to were the only disappointment. The beach is at the ports we did get to go to or some of the most beautiful in the world. Shout out to Ikadek and Iputu in the main dining for excellent service and Dwayne on deck for for his quality care during our stay.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining room staff was amazing. The food was excellent and we had such good experiences that we never felt like we needed to do the specialty restaurants. Ikadek and Iputu especially made our trip comfortable. They made sure that allergies were constantly looked out for and that our preferences were always ready when we got there. The extra detail they spent to get to know us and really what we like is unmatched by any other cruise we’ve been on.

Dwayne kept our room spotless. He was attentive and consistent. Not a speck of sand left after beach days. He towel animals were the icing on the cake. Well done.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We felt cleaner and safer on the ship than we did in any hotel or airport or other place on our trip. Consistent and intentional visible cleaning by the staff made us feel confident in choosing to cruise at this time.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bathroom was still a bit too small and the window had peeling paint that seemed dated. Otherwise was what we expected for the money and age of the ship.
Ship tip
Skip wind jammer and eat in the main dining even for breakfast and brunch one available in addition to your evening meals. The food and service is amazing for the included price. Hang out In the leather sofas in decks six. The views and comfort are the best on the ship.
We had two excursions cancel and the final one we were booked on was not what we asked for. They gave us a tour of their airport and their university and a fort. Nobody wants to pay money to go see somebody’s airport. I understand half the island is closed because the agriculture areas contain a lot of unvaccinated people but if they are not prepared for guests then perhaps don’t go there? Wish we would have just gone to the beach but really wanted to see the spice farms since that is what the island is known for. If they couldn’t do the spices at this time they should just not offer those tours. Also the shore excursion desk help i the ship needs to be more educated on current conditions so they can advise more accurately. Again, nobody wants to go see somebody’s airport. That’s not an excursion you pay for. We asked for a refund and after several conversations it was provided. But we still feel like we missed an incredible place and left disappointed when so many of the ports are already canceling this is one we should have been able to enjoy. Also the length of stay on the island wasn’t long enough for us to go back out after the terrible tour. We could have taken a taxi to at least see the beach. Instead our kids slept for three hours in the back of a van with no air-conditioning breathing exhaust because they said the ship would not allow air conditioning to be used in the vans for air quality.
Super sad that we were standing with swimsuits ready to leave the ship when we were not allowed entry. I know it’s not the ships fault. It looks like a beautiful place.
