Review summary

This was our first cruise and our 15th Wedding Anniversary! The Grandeur of the Seas was a PERFECT first ship as it was small enough to not be overwhelming. The crew was stellar and set the bar high for our next cruise.

Embarkation

We stood in line for over an hour, but it was exciting and we didn't mind cause our vacation had already started 😉 The luggage drop off was fast and easy though!! They were waiting in our cabin when we boarded 👍🏻👍🏻

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dinning hall was our favorite! We love the 8pm dining cause it gave us time to clean up and rest before dinner. It was by far our favorite part of every day! So much fun, laughter and good memories! Delicious food and the BEST servers!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the pools, shopping, rock climbing, fitness room, a couples massage, bingo and pictures every night.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The musicians, djs and performers were A-MAZ-ING, however, the comedy act was distasteful and crude.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room attendant was GREAT and our servers were off the chart! Also, the picture crew was loads of fun and so creative. We were most definitely on a first name basis with everyone after 12 days 😂

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The layout was functional and the ship was VERY clean!! Even through the rough seas coming back into port the two days before. There was a Nor'eastern storm that literally rocked the boat lol! While I enjoyed the excitement most passengers were hiding in their cabins.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was everything we expected and more. Our cabin attendant was great! We LOVED our HUGE window and saw dolphins twice 🐬

Ship tip

It's the perfect ship if you're sailing without children! There isn't a lot offered for children so in return it's a peaceful and quiet vacation.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

We swam with Dolphins on this stop. It was fun and I would love to experience it again, but it's too expensive.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

We went to a private island/beach for the day, it was heavenly!

St. John's, Antigua

We swam with stingrays! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This was by far my favorite island! We walked around in the shops, ate lunch at a beach restaurant and spent the afternoon at the beach. Perfect!

Castries, St. Lucia

We went on a Jeep tour of the island and ended on a small beach. It was a great excursion shared with another couple.

Baltimore, Maryland

Convenient port for us cause we Dropped off our children on the way up lol!

Disembarkation

Quick and easy.
