If you want a laid back restful ship definitely do the Grandeur of the Seas and if you love trivia this ship has trivia games all day 😊
Embarkation

Easy... less then 5 minutes and we didn’t have all our paperwork printed out because the website was down, customer service printed all paper work, took our pic for seapass, I do advise it does make it easier just to carry a passport.. I have done the 3 id’s before... keeping up with marriage license, birth certificate that both have to come from the court house certified stamped.. a passport is worth the investment if you are a cruiser!

Food and Dining

MDR wait staff was great to help with suggestions on menu as well
as the specialty restaurants. They are both very attentive... never go without something drink throughout your meal... and love coffee with my dessert and was always asked before desert was served. Both will work with you if you have a special diet or allergy to a certain ingredient... just go your first day to MDR or Specialty restaurant and they will help with your needs. The buffet was always plentiful, many choices, and always clean.... lastly I love that there are hand sanitizer always available as you walk into any eating area... everybody knows the washy washy song.. if not.. you will 😂

Entertainment

Typical... nothing out of the ordinary. If you love trivia this is your ship, seems like there was a trivia game almost every hour. I have to give the Schooer Bar a thumbs up and the piano player Danny was very entertaining.

We was always treated very well and special... been on this ship twice because of the crew and like I said if you want to just be laid back and take a rest or do some socializing... this is a great ship to be on.

It’s was always clean and Ronnie our cabin steward was a delight
Stayed in the city of Baltimore the first cruise, at a Marriott and it was great, had to have valet parking which was fine, but was happy that the next morning we was getting on the ship because I seen some very crazy and dangerous problem outside my window from the third floor... Baltimore is not a safe place, even the people that worked there said please do not go out after dark 😳
We had a cabana on Chill Island and it was great and also had a attendant who served us a meal... the ocean in front of the cabanas was roped off and in my opinion to small of a area, not enough room for all the people in the roped off area of the ocean to even have floats on, I will try a cabana at the Oasis Lagoon next time. I did have a excursion for the Thrill Park slides but after reading about the lines I canceled, with 2 ships in port you can wait up to a hour to do a 30 second slide😳 and don’t forget they are the tallest slides in North America 135ft... hope this gets fixed... just have so much to do but not enough time for waits.
