Overall, we had a great time. We chose an inside cabin this time, and on this ship we didn't miss out on anything. There are sooooo many places onboard where you can sit (indoors or outdoors) and get a great view of your surroundings and do whatever you wish.
Embarkation

I've gone through the port of Baltimore a few times. We drove to the port, and there was a bit of a line waiting to drop off luggage and pay for parking (maybe 15 minutes), but it was fine. Once inside the terminal, given we had all our paperwork in order, it was probably another 15 minutes, and we were onboard.

Food and Dining

I'm tough on ratings ... could it have been better ... of course. But I enjoyed every meal, we had plenty of selection, and had no complaints. Probably my only complaint is the soda package was very expensive (I drink a lot of soda, but they definitely made a healthy profit on me) and the alcoholic beverages were pretty expensive.
Onboard Activities

My favorite part of cruises is the at sea time. I can do what I want, and not do what I don't want to do. I found plenty to do. I didn't get a chance to climb the rock wall because the upper deck was closed for a few of the at sea days (too windy), but that's obviously not within their control.

Ship tip
The Grandeur has a lot of places to sit on decks 4/5/6/9/10/11, where you can get great views, either indoor or outdoors. A great ship on which to relax. Understand the WIFI/onboard cell coverage (WIFI was sketchy with the iPhone), your carrier's roaming policies, and how to set up your cell phone to work with the Grandeur. I did not, and I might end up paying for it when I get my next cellphone bill.
We did one excursion (snorkeling) and one beach visit on our own. I would have liked one more day in port to explore a bit more, but alas ... I love days at sea also. Bottomline, research your ports of call ahead of time (not just the excursions) to learn as much as you can. Being prepared is a great help. Of course, most of these ports are well supported by the local populace ... they know their business and are there to help.
