The cruise was really nice, weather great and crew very friendly. We would definitely recommend this trip for others.
This was our first cruise North so the ports were new and unique as opposed to the Islands in the Caribbean. Cruising during September (hurricane season) was a challenge and we lucked out because we were between 2 storms and just ahead of a third. We will reconsider the time of year next time.
Food and Dining

Had steak the first night in the dining room and it was tough and definitely not up to Royal standards. All other meals were very good. We ate in the specialty restaurants 3 times and that was very good as well.

The volume of the entertainment in the Centrum was EXTREMELY loud very often. It did not need to be that extreme for everyone to hear. It would have been more enjoyable to listen to the entertainment with less volume. We were on deck 8 towards the front of the ship and could hear the shows clearly.

The ship is definitely showing its age. We had an owner's suite and the table was scratched, marble stained, problem with flushing the toilet.
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was very nice, but the living room table had deep scratches, the marble near the vanity had water stains and the toilet had issues flushing at times. It was very nice but the entire ship, including this room, need an overhaul.
Chops was excellent and highly recommended. Iszumi was also very good.
When walking in the halls, be aware that the cleaner that they use to disinfect causes it to feel sticky and/or "slimy" until it is dry. Most of the time it was fine, but we periodically touched it immediately after cleaning
