Overall an OK cruise for the price
Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Southern
Review SummaryAside from the CONS listed already above there were numerous employees in different areas of the ship who were not happy to be working there for whatever reasons and they were not polite and a few down rite rude at times when asking for their assistance and most of the employees were clearly new and did not know what they could do or not do for the patronage. No shipboard announcement of port services shift which caused temporary outage of water service and caught us in the shower lathered up and no water to rinse and with call to guest services we still had to wait 20 minutes to even find out when we would get water back. Lastly\, the activities were mostly geared toward the older generation\, with about 80% being well over 65 and having various mobility issues\, likely complicated by the ship's lack of smooth sailing as previously mentioned and that which clearly slow the pace of other passengers. If we had not cruised before and this was our first one then we probably would rate it higher but given we've cruised on several ships before our rating is based on our experience and comparative enjoyment with service and overall value.

Pros: Price was good
Cons: Food was just Ok; Ship was smaller than others we've sailed and it did not float well in moderate seas\, which caused wife to feel dizzy with headaches most time at sea; formal dining stingy with food on plate; buffet food taken away well before posted closing times
