Smooth departure, Great weather

Sail Date: January 01, 2014

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

We have been on a lot of cruises but this is our first on RCL. Most cruise directors are kind of stuffy. Not so with Ricky. He was entertaining and always active. It seemed like where ever we went he was there.

Pros: Being able to leave out of Baltimore.

Cons: Not a big thing but our cabin was tiny and it was an upgrade!

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
We prefer smaller ships and the Grandeur fit the bill. We liked having a deck that went the whole way around the ship although it bow was frequently closed for no apparent reason.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
As I said above\, stateroom was extremely small. It is a good thing we are slim and agile.
Service and Staff
Guest entertainers were terrific but ship's singers and dancers were not as good as what we experienced on other lines.
