An okay" cruise"
Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (young children)

Review SummaryWe recently sailed on the Grandeur of the Seas. We have sailed on many cruises with our children and were disappointed with the food in the dining room. There were a couple of nights where the food was quite enjoyable\, but several nights we left very disappointed and went to the sandwich counter on the Pool Deck to look for something to eat. In particular\, the last night we chose the salmon. It was so overcooked we sent it back twice. It was tough and rubbery.
We were also disappointed with the \"excursion\" at Cococay. We paid for our two children (ages 8 and 10) to have access to the 40 ft slide and the Aquapark. The price for the aquapark alone was $20/pn. If we had waited until we got off of the ship and went to the park\, they were only charging $15/pn. It is all owned by Royal Caribbean! First rip-off....then when the kids were at the aqua park\, they were told that they could only play on the two water trampolines and one very large inflatable that they were not strong enough to climb up. Second rip-off....same excursion. This left a very poor taste in our mouth for RCI.
This was our first cruise with RCI\, and likely our last.
