This is an older smaller ship than the others we have been on with Royal Caribbean. Therefore there were some limitations in technology and space that we noticed\, but overall the staff did an excellent job providing an entertaining and relaxing experience and kept the ship very clean. As far as the \"immersion cruise\"\, we were not aware at the time of booking that this itinerary was marketed to Central/South Americans. The staff was able to speak English\, but Spanish was the primary language. This was not a big deal\, but finding English versions of some cruise and shore paperwork and understanding the nightly shows was challenging.

Food and Dining

The waitstaff was very personable and took time to chat with us about our day. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Giovanni's italian restaurant offered superior service and attention for a romantic\, more private evening.

Some of the shows were sub-titled in Spanish so that was challenging\, but overall great shows. The atrium shows after dinner were aerial spectaculars with great singing and \"floating\" dancers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on the ship was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and important. English was not necessarily their primary language\, but we both tried and had no problems communicating.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
As we said\, this is a smaller ship that is older. But the ship was very clean and kept neat. The staff still produced an excellent cruise using what they had to work with.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The rear-facing junior suite was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was very large and offered us space to spend the whole day lounging and sunning and reading on the days at sea.

Pros: The ports of call visited

Cons: The limitations of an older\, smaller ship.

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? No.
