Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Review SummaryThe food quality was horrible...everything tasted like powdered or microwaved food. Alot of maintainence work seemed to be performed during odd hours, when customers were out and about, causing limited or no access to certain areas of the ship. The reliability of alot of the automatic doors was hit or miss at best. The cost of alcoholic beverages was outrageous. The cleanliness of the common areas left alot to be desired. The attitudes of customer relations staff such as the Pursers Desk was very condescending and belittling to certain guests. The beds in the rooms were horrible and not comfortable at all to sleep on. Numerous other passengers also commented on the poor quality of the beds as well.
On the plus side, the service staff such as housekeeping and dining staff in the Great Gatsby dining room were awesome. We were very pleased with the service provided by our housekeeping staff, our room was cleaned and restocked several times daily. Our Waiter, JohnLee, and Assistant Waiter, Kelroy knew our names and drink preferences by day 2, and were there to tend to our every need.

Pros: The service Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dining Staff made up for poor food quality.
Cons: The quality of the food was "institutional" at best, the cost of drinks aboard was highly overpriced for quality and quantity served.
