Lots to Do And Lots of Fun

Sail Date: May 31, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship had many rooms and activities. The theater was very comfortable for the song/dance show and comedy show we went to. The ship top deck was beautiful- an outdoor pool with three whirlpools, an indoor adult pool with a skylight that opened up along with 2 whirlpools and food everywhere! The only downside was that it took us nearly the whole trip to explore and get familiar with everything. No one told us about 2 different food locations that were free of charge as well- so tip to any travelers- make sure to ask what is included in your stay!

Pros: Great Food, Many Activities, Wonderful Adult Only Pool

Cons: sometimes hard to find seating in the buffet areas, one very early port

Service and Staff
Everyone went out of their way with great service. Room cleaning twice a day and everything was spick and span whenever we returned. Wait staff were great, friendly, always willing to answer questions and bringing us extra entrees, appetizers, and dessert when requested without hesitation. They did not offer us the drinks that were included in our package though, so make sure you know that you can request tea and lemonade free of charge.
Always something to do! Between shows, the casino (doesn't pay out at all though!), events, parties, competitions, and ports- great fun!
Cabin / Stateroom
The ship rooms were as can be expected... shower was very tight and the bathroom in general smelled strange even when it was cleaned. We weren't in the room that much because of all the things there were to do so it didn't really matter. We were near the bow of the ship and that was a good location for us because we had an oceanview and felt like we had a little more privacy. Never really heard anyone else in their rooms which was surprising since the rooms are so small but I guess the ambient sounds of the ship probably covered up a lot of sounds.
Food and Dining
Great variety, wonderful service, great food. Tip to travelers- you can order more than one entree at no extra charge! We figured this out the last couple of days and were able to try more than one meal which was a real perk. Lovely ambience- staff works hard to make you feel welcome and make you have fun. We had a great table of honeymooner diners so that helped. Might be a different experience with people you don't like or have anything in common with, but then you can just take advantage of the buffet dining or dining offsite on days at port.
Ship Quality
Clean and modern beautiful bathrooms, spa, sauna, whirlpools, pools, casino... the list goes on. Everything was always spotless. You could leave your dirty cups or plates out and they would be gone within 5 minutes.
Cozumel, Mexico
It was ok. We should have traveled more to the city, ruins, or other ports. Didn't make it far because we were on foot so mostly junky vendors.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Beautiful crystal clear waters and pristine beaches. Check out 7-mile beach! Excursions are worth it.
Don't Miss: Kayaking and snorkeling at 7 Mile Beach
