Great First Time Cruise

Sail Date: March 12, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Grandeur of the Seas is lovely. Everything is laid out very well, so that you can choose your day's experiences. For example, the pool activities were noisy and fun, but there were plenty of other areas where you could relax in quiet and just watch the ocean! The crew was outstanding. We didn't encounter anything but excellent service from anyone. All were friendly and eager to please guests. Our stateroom was much bigger than I expected, very nicely decorated and with an enormous amount of storage space!

Pros: Variety of activities onboard and the excellent service

Cons: Very crowded outdoor pool - never any chairs!

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
The gorgeous water is the attraction. We took a snokeling trip and it was a great way to experience the amazing reefs and fish. At the end of the pier, there's a small shopping area and a taxi or rental car is necessary to get into downtown Cozumel.
