Review summary

I have been on this ship 7 times. I have cruised other ships and lines and prefer RCCL. The ship is not too big and not too small. I love the ports and the fact that it is docked (or was) in New Orleans. It is a great location for people in the SE to drive and not have to fool with the expense of airfare. I am sickened that they will not be returning. The captn mentioned the Rhapsody moving to New Orleans but word on the ship is that is a few years away. If they would leave a ship there year round it would help in time...still too many folks in the area are unaware of the New Orleans port. Maybe local TV spots and local cruise rates for folks that drive like they do in the Florida area would help build the business. I take this trip 2 times a year and my parents have already been 3 times....so the ones that know are loyal

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

I love this port - great shopping and great beaches. I prefer to dock in town but docking at either pier or a tender is ok. I love Adventure beach and Chanaaka Park
Don't Miss: Chanaaka Park

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

I like this port for the ability to walk off and everything is right there - just wish they would open the snorkel beach by the pier- it was open the first time I went and it has been closed since - even if they worked out a deal with the cruise line and charged and entrance fee and split it with the ship - it would be great because you could come and go

George Town, Grand Cayman

I have been many times - it is not the best port - we took a bust to 7 Mile beach
