Review summary
I have been on this ship 7 times. I have cruised other ships and lines and prefer RCCL. The ship is not too big and not too small. I love the ports and the fact that it is docked (or was) in New Orleans. It is a great location for people in the SE to drive and not have to fool with the expense of airfare. I am sickened that they will not be returning. The captn mentioned the Rhapsody moving to New Orleans but word on the ship is that is a few years away. If they would leave a ship there year round it would help in time...still too many folks in the area are unaware of the New Orleans port. Maybe local TV spots and local cruise rates for folks that drive like they do in the Florida area would help build the business. I take this trip 2 times a year and my parents have already been 3 times....so the ones that know are loyalPorts of call
Pros: love the ship and the port location
Cons: hearing that they will not be returning to new orleans
Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!
