A fabulous cruise!!!

Sail Date: January 27, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Grandeur of the Seas is a beautiful ship. The outside cabin we had was very spacious and well maintained. In fact, the whole ship is well maintained. We always saw someone painting or repairing something.

Pros: The cruise director, Hamish Davis, made the activities and entertainment the most enjoyable I have ever experienced.

Cons: The account billing and the Purser's Desk. Not very helpful and inconvenienced us to return to deal with nuisance problems with billing that should have been resolved with one visit to the desk. Instead It took five visits to finally get satisfaction.

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
The port itself is a bit of a tourist trap. The area outside the port is pristine. I hope it stays that way.

George Town, Grand Cayman
Great shopping, but a little pricier than the other ports.
Don't Miss: Don't miss taking a ride down to Seven Mile Beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
Really enjoyed the catamaran excursion.
Don't Miss: Don't miss an outdoor restauraunt on the Plaza named "los Doridos". Ask for Sergio, the waiter. He will take good care of you and food is great.
