An ok trip

Sail Date: August 18, 2006

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

teenagers and small children were out of control. small children were in the pool with diapers on. teenagers controlled the pool the masses of them. no parent control or staff of ship control. like a Carnaval Criuse. teenagers that want to entertain everyone else on the ship.

Pros: three days at sea to relax

Cons: small children and teenagers

Cozumel, Mexico
the ship pushes this as a shopping stop. i didn't go 1500 miles to a foreign country to go shopping!!!!
Don't Miss: rent a car and go around the island
Miami, Florida
waste of time. we were there 4 or 5 hours. isn't this where you normally just get on a ship.
Don't Miss: stay on the ship.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
we went on a private tour DAVID AND IVAN of the ruins. this was a great tour and only $41 per person.
Don't Miss: DAVID AND IVAN tour of the ruins.
Key West, Florida
over priced walking tour to the Hemmingway House. you could walk to it (or take a cab) yourself and just paid the entrance fee. a $108.00 for 3 people was not worth the tour guide.
Don't Miss: rent one of those little cars and see the island your self.
Port Canaveral, Florida
we rented a car and drove to NASA. the car sat in the parking lot while we spent 4 1/2 hours at the space center. we had to race back in the rain to make the ships departure at 3:30 pm. POINT DIDN'T NEED THE CAR. the time it took to get the car and go some place you loose 2 hours.
Don't Miss: stay on the ship unless you have more than 8 hours in port.
