Ship is Tired

Sail Date: August 04, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

Surprised at the little things that were overlooked in the rooms such as broken sliding door in suite, drawer that wouldn't open, taped remote control in two of our three rooms, tired finishes,ect... Closets in Suites are much smaller on Vision Class RCCL ships than Radiance and Voyager Class ships. Kids amenities are not up to newer standards. Gym was almost non existant... a total of 5 treadmills for nearly 2400 people? Toilets on the 8th floor were not working for several hours the first night. Big dent in the side of the ship where the Captain hit the dock in Costa Maya on a previous trip. Ice cream was highly guarded and only available during dining room hours...why?? The Lounge was too small for the major events held their ...several people left standing. Loved the Baltimore departure....need more ship options to choose from next time.

Pros: Captains Humor

Cons: Poor Maintenance of Hotel Rooms

Port Canaveral, Florida

Don't Miss: Space Center

Waste of time
Cozumel, Mexico
Poor overall shopping
Don't Miss: Swim with Dolphins
Miami, Florida
We took the ducks tour and it was great! Why wasn't this one of the options? Others on the ship were there with us as well. Not enough time to do anything extensive
Don't Miss: South Beach
